On December 1st the scouts on their day off visited the Massachusetts State House with troop 511. The State House is the state capital and seat of government for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is located in Boston on Beacon Hill. The scouts were introduced as guests of Massachusetts Representative Ken Gordon and toured the building. They had the privilege to attend lunch and a Q&A with Ken Gordon and watch a few minutes of the house in session. The scouts had a great time and were very grateful for this opportunity.

Our troop held its annual Turkey Feast campout at Camp Forty Acres on November 19th. This time the Pack 105 Webelos joined to help us out. The scouts made turkey, chicken, pies, and the wonderful sides served at Thanksgiving dinner. The scouts served over 40 friends and family and ended the night with a great campfire program. Check out the pictures.
